Native of Rockford Illinois, artist Patrick McCarren has worked in watercolor for over 30 years developing a special talent for creating atmospheres and capturing sentimental memories . Fall and winter seasons are his favorite to work in. His love of painting can quickly be seen with his unique style of combing wet into wet, yet focussing on portions in high detail. His major volume of work, includes
farms and homestead, woods, as well as churches, monasteries and civic landmarks. His commission charge is nominal. For example a basic 36" x 24" starts at $350.00 while more detailed may run in the $500.00 range. Double matting: add $22.00. Custom framing with double matting and non glare glass runs around $200.00.
